So i must be the only person in the world who does not have or has not used Twitter. Is it me or does it seem like a new social networking site pops up every year? Twitter is a ”is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read other users’ updates known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length which are displayed on the user’s profile page and delivered to other users who have subscribed to them (known as followers).” What’s worse is that
Facebook changed it’s look, to give that “twitter-look” when you log in. I really do not see the point of this. Do people really give a rat’s tail about what you are doing or thinking every minute? But i guess people update their status and do not care if people comment or not, maybe as a way to be boastful or showoff. It tells the other people in cyberspace that you are in their presence. This article pretty much sums ups what the site is about. Narcissism and stalking could have not gotten any better. Thanks Twitter!
